A Fistful of Wildflowers

So work has been good and the past two days have gone by nicely. Today is my day off, so I figured I would write a little something.
I am craving the homely comfort of thanksgiving, the crispness of it.
And I cannot wait for the cold-blooded movement of winter, the strangulation of the snow and all of the white.
I missed it so much, things have changed so much. It seems like thousands of years rather than just a few months.
I want sleep, but it is something I cannot have.
